Join our team in Columbus, NE, a welcoming community known for its strong work ethic and vibrant local culture. We are seeking dedicated individuals to be part of our day shift operations, working 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6pm on a 2-week rotation.
- Pay rate is competitive and will be discussed upon application.
- No drug screening is required, and all workers can start with a background check pending.
- A high school diploma or GED is required for this job assignment.
- Candidates with previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment will have first preference.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English.
- Perform basic math calculations.
- Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
The role involves performing routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting under general supervision. You will maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMPs, and ISO9000 standards.
- Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives.
- Make effective decisions relative to position requirements.
- Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required.
- Work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures.
- Develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
- Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
- Possess effective communication skills at a level co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand.
- Ability to get along with people and work in a team environment.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
