M&A Integration Security Engineer

12+ month contract (strong possibility to extend or become FTE)
$75 to $85 per hour contract

Summary
We are seeking a Security Engineer / Integration Specialist to support merger, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture initiatives. This role needs an expert in network security or IAM to ensures secure, seamless integration of technologies while protecting business operations and data. You'll partner with security, infrastructure, and product teams to align all activities with enterprise security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute M&A security playbooks for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Implement and configure security tools during post-close integration.
• Serve as a liaison between acquired technology teams and internal security for incident response.
• Support design and execution of security projects.
• Report on information security metrics and ensure compliance with standards.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in Information Security (engineering preferred)
• 2+ years of real-world experience with M&A integration and large product upgrades
• Specialization in security technologies ( endpoint, network, data, cloud, forensics, IAM)
• Experience with Active Directory, plus working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure
• Familiarity with networking, email security, vulnerability management, and SIEM tools
• Strong background in communication, advisor / strategic collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, GSEC, AWS) are a plus
• Experience on-boarding MSSP
• Healthcare experience
