LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Compensation
• The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Highlights
• Contract assignment (03/02/2026 – 05/01/2026)
• Onsite position in Macon, GA
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Potential for extension based on performance and business needs
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns
• Ensure all medications dispensed are appropriate and compliant with state and federal regulations
• Maintain confidential patient records and properly manage pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and potential drug interactions
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications
• Offer patient services such as smoking cessation counseling, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, etc.)
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of pharmaceutical and medical supplies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related issues
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Requirements
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
• Active Georgia Pharmacist license required
• Ability to work onsite in Macon, GA
• Ability to commit to 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
LTC Closed Door Pharmacist Preferred Qualifications
• Long-term care or retail pharmacy experience
