Are you ready to take your career to new heights? We are seeking a Permanent Low Voltage Lead Technician to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from small residential systems to large commercial installations. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including fire alarms, access control systems, CCTV, and telecom. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to program these systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, ensuring they are in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Program and troubleshoot systems such as fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and telecom.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, answering their queries and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of junior technicians, providing them with guidance and support as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of low voltage systems and identify any necessary repairs or upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of equipment and materials.
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and telecom systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to program low voltage systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Video Surveillance and other security systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate and oversee the work of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical clients and colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
