Lotions and Oils Mixer

Summary:

A Lotions and Oils Mixer works to mix or otherwise combine ingredients to create nutritional supplements based on preset formulas. Your duties include sourcing materials, weighing each element, batching correctly, documenting, quality checks, and ensuring the proper ratios in the final product. We are looking for 1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

Prep for the day/week with your supervisor.

Gather materials needed for the mix. Ingredients, Scoops, bags, barrels, stand mixer, snips, zip ties, etc.

Follow the formula sheets for mixing instructions.

Prepare all ingredients for Pre-Mix QC checks and collaborate with the quality control team before commencing mixing.

Mixes are broken down into steps. Some mixes have multiple steps that will take time to perform. During each mix, document the ingredients' lot codes and time stamps.

Once all the steps are done and the mix is complete, the mixer must weigh out the finished product. The finished product must then be labeled, and all paperwork must be completed and handed over to a QC team member for quality check.

All equipment, surfaces, and floors are then cleaned.

Weigh, label, and return any leftover ingredients.

Work with your supervisor to ensure you have enough ingredients and materials for the next mix.
