Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Logistics Operations: Oversee all aspects of the logistics cycle, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory management, and warehousing.
Coordinate Shipments: Schedule and coordinate all product distribution and shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate contracts with logistics service providers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to secure favorable terms.
Manage Budgets: Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Supervise Logistics Team: Manage and mentor the logistics team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Track and Analyze Performance: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
Develop and Implement Strategies: Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the supply chain.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong understanding of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
