Job Summary: The Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in managing inventory within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate storage, handling, and distribution of materials while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The position supports efficient order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and overall operational effectiveness.\n\nResponsibilities:\nManage and maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counting^Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement preventive actions^Handle receiving process including PO matching, inspection, tagging, and storage^Issue materials, manage stock returns (RMA), and ensure timely delivery to end users^Oversee shipment of finished goods, materials, and samples^Ensure compliance with DOT and IATA shipping regulations^Maintain stock levels in distribution areas and support order closeout activities^Communicate with customer service and operations for special shipping requirements^Ensure compliance with company policies, cGMP, and regulatory requirements^Maintain a safe working environment following health and safety guidelines^Support operational improvements and participate in process documentation^Cross-train and assist in other departmental activities as needed
