Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the entire logistics process from raw material receipt to finished goods delivery.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure optimal stock and prevent shortages.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Develop and implement efficient strategies for warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with national and international shipping regulations, customs, and company policies.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, warehousing operations, inventory control, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
• Proficiency in advanced WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Oracle TMS).
• Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for logistics optimization.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
