Responsibilities
- Perform onsite logistics studies to ensure equipment transportation to the jobsite.
- Facilitate national and international market screens to gather logistics market knowledge.
- Create ITN# for export goods and conduct competitive bidding for freight requirements exceeding $50,000.
- Manage all shipping methods and deliveries to various vendor locations and jobsites.
- Maintain value analysis tools to support estimating, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Develop centralized freight estimates database for the past 12 months.
- Issue Logistics Service Orders (LSOs) for transportation services and coordinate shipments with suppliers and customers.
- Prepare shipping and customs clearance documentation, including export filings.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, policies, and procedures.
- File transport insurance claims as needed.
- Develop and implement logistics plans supporting projects.
- Regularly update HTS code database and implement shipment tracking systems.
- Prepare shipment status reports and maintain logistics data visibility for stakeholders.
- Adhere to the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct, demonstrating professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in domestic and international logistics/shipping.
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong understanding of global logistics, transportation, and trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and logistics-related systems.
- Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Experience with AI tools for logistics optimization is a plus.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
