We are a fast-growing supplier of high-quality durable medical equipment and supplies, specializing in beds, mattresses, wheelchairs, lifts, patient room furnishings, and other essential items for nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and senior living communities. With a strong foundation serving Canadian clients, we are now rapidly expanding into the US market to meet increasing demand from healthcare providers across the United States. Our mission is to deliver reliable, comfortable, and compliant equipment that supports the dignity and well-being of residents.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. This is a hands-on, in-office role based near Monsey, New York, where you will serve as a key executor in our small, agile team. You will manage the full logistics cycle to support our US market expansion, ensuring medical beds and other equipment reach nursing homes and long-term care facilities efficiently and reliably. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic growth environment and takes full ownership of executing logistics tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for medical beds, mattresses, furniture, and other durable medical equipment shipments to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the US market.
  • Manage order fulfillment, including picking, packing, scheduling carriers, and tracking shipments from our Monsey-area operations.
  • Work closely with suppliers, domestic freight carriers, and warehousing partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and damage-free deliveries across the United States.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels for high-demand items like beds, and proactively manage reorder points to support rapid US growth.
  • Handle all required shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and compliance paperwork for medical equipment transportation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or routing challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Optimize shipping routes, carrier selection, and costs while maintaining high standards for delivery speed and product condition to meet expanding US customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to align on customer delivery timelines and support the overall US market expansion strategy.
  • Keep detailed records in our systems and generate regular reports on shipment status, costs, on-time performance, and other key metrics.
  • Support general office operations and execute additional tasks as needed in our small-team environment.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in medical equipment, furniture, or domestic US shipping/distribution.
  • Strong understanding of US freight regulations, carrier networks, and best practices in durable medical equipment logistics is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to execute tasks with exceptional attention to detail and minimal supervision — you are a reliable “doer” who follows through consistently.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
  • Proficiency with logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with medical device or healthcare supply chain requirements is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and comfortable working full-time in an office environment near Monsey, NY.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, especially when supporting nursing home and long-term care clients.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive base salary of $85,000 per year.
