Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Rockwall, TX

Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or in inpatient obstetric care
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience with hospital-based obstetric emergencies
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Ability to perform emergent interventions if necessary
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology or hospitalist medicine
- Prior locum or temporary provider experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain or maintain Texas medical licensure and hospital privileges (expedited privileges available for clean files)
- Must possess or be eligible to acquire necessary board certifications and privileging credentials
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025 and work flexible shifts as needed
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and adhering to hospital policies
Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with hourly pay rate to be determined based on experience and qualifications.
