Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Maternal Fetal Medicine – Midlothian, VA

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to deliver exceptional patient care during ongoing recruitment periods. Required Skills:
- Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Proficiency in high-risk obstetric care, including procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, and cerclage
- Experience managing complex pregnancies including preeclampsia, growth restrictions, chromosomal anomalies, and other high-risk conditions
- Skilled in fetal ultrasound imaging and interpretation
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically EPIC and Viewpoint
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supervising healthcare providers or multidisciplinary teams
- Additional training or certifications in genetic counseling or related specialties
- Familiarity with hospital-based inpatient and outpatient settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in maternal fetal medicine, ideally in hospital-based or outpatient environments
- Current licensure in Virginia or eligible for licensure
Other Requirements:
- Ability to cover scheduled dates including 05/08-05/15, 05/16-05/22, and 05/26-05/31
- Credentialing completion within approximately 90 days
- Willingness to travel; facility covers flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS rates
- Valid medical license, and current certifications as required
