Are you an experienced Hematology-Oncology physician seeking a flexible, rewarding opportunity? We are looking for a dedicated Locum Physician to provide exceptional care to adult patients in Paducah, KY. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary hematology and oncology care to adult patients
- Manage a patient caseload averaging 22 per day, including 2-3 new consults
- Focus approximately 95% on clinic-based care and 5% on hospital-based treatments
- Balance 70% oncology and 30% hematology cases
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for patient documentation and coordination
- Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
Required Skills:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Valid medical license to practice in Kentucky
- Proven experience in adult hematology and oncology
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience using EPIC EMR system
- Experience in outpatient and hospital-based oncology/hematology services
- Ability to handle diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a practicing physician
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start on 03/21/2026 and commit to ongoing coverage
- Willingness to travel as needed for licensure or certification renewals
- Current medical licensure and applicable certifications
- Compliance with all healthcare and safety regulations
