Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - General Medicine NH and Make a Difference

Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for serving Veterans? We are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to join our dynamic team on a locum basis, performing important Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to veterans’ health while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive remuneration.

In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments, including physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. You will work within your own designated office location within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln or Lebanon, NH, dedicating one day per week to serve those who have served our country with honor. The position offers ongoing, PRN work with flexible hours—either half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours)—allowing you to balance your professional and personal commitments effectively.

Required Skills

  • Medical license in the state of New Hampshire with current certification.
  • Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
  • Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is preferred.
  • Ability to perform interview-based assessments with some physical examination components.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a outpatient or private practice setting.

Nice to Have Skills
  • Prior experience with VA or military medical assessments.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission.
  • Additional certifications related to occupational health or mobility testing.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience.
  • Prior experience performing compensation or pension exams is advantageous.

Other Requirements
  • Must own or have access to a private office within the specified radius.
  • Willingness to complete initial training and perform first exams promptly.
  • Travel reimbursement included in pay rate—no additional expenses required.
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks such as report addendums and follow-up documentation.
