This ongoing assignment offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a busy urgent care setting, supporting patients from adolescents to geriatrics. What You’ll Bring:
- Current PA licensure and certification.
- Prior experience in urgent care, occupational health, or emergency settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills for episodic injury and illness treatment.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating accountability and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Familiarity with Anthem EMR system is preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with injury management in occupational health.
- Additional certifications in advanced trauma or urgent care.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in urgent care or related fields.
Other Requirements:
- The role is ongoing, with flexible scheduling based on practice needs.
- Supervising physician will be available via phone; on-site supervision is present during procedures.
- Reimbursement for mileage at the IRS Standard Rate for local providers.
- Must hold valid state licensure to practice as a PA in Virginia.
