We are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to deliver Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. In this role, you will conduct interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. The position involves performing one-time, non-treatment exams on a PRN basis, offering the flexibility of half-day or full-day shifts. Required Skills:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license
- Background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
- Experience with Compensation & Pension evaluations or similar assessments preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform interview-based exams and basic physical assessments
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in veterans’ health exams
- Familiarity with medical reporting or interpretation of diagnostics
- Additional certifications related to veteran health evaluations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Accredited Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN or DNP)
- At least 2 years of clinical practice, with experience in internal or family medicine
- Prior experience conducting Compensation & Pension exams is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Own office location within specified radius of Arkansas locations (Arkadelphia, Pine Bluff, Forrest City, Helena)
- Willingness to travel locally within designated radii
- Reliable internet and computer access for administrative follow-up work
- No prescribing or treatment responsibilities
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $402.00 per hour
Rate Structure:
- Half-day (up to 4 hours): $600 flat rate (includes exam, report submission, and addendums)
- Full-day (5 hours or more): $1,200 flat rate
- One-time bonus of $650 after completing training and initial exams
- Local candidates only; travel included in rates
