Locum Dentist

RSMC Services is currently seeking a Pediatric-focused Dentist for a federal Indian Health Service (IHS) non-personal services contract at the Albuquerque Indian Dental Clinic in Albuquerque, NM. This opportunity offers a stable, mission-driven clinical setting serving Native American communities within a structured federal contract environment.

Contract Overview
• Location: Albuquerque Indian Dental Clinic (Albuquerque, NM)
• Contract Type: Federal IHS non-personal services contract (independent contractor / 1099)
• Schedule: Part-time, 27 hours per week, Monday–Friday (no weekends, no call)
• Contract Term: Base year with up to four option years (potential 5-year total)
• Start Date: Dependent on federal background clearance

Clinical Scope
• Pediatric-focused care within an IHS clinic setting
• Preventive, restorative, emergency care, extractions, pulpal therapy, behavior management
• Team-based environment serving Native American communities
• Dentrix charting system

Compensation Structure
• Hourly rate (all-inclusive)
• Rate must include malpractice coverage, taxes, and any associated expenses
• No overtime; federal holidays observed

Credentialing & Clearance
• State dental license (any U.S. state accepted)
• BLS required
• Federal background check and fingerprinting required (IHS process)
• Immunization and health compliance per IHS standards
