We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Anesthetist to independently deliver safe and effective anesthesia services at UMH Ionia. What You Need for Success:
- Valid and current CRNA certification and state licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical anesthesia experience
- Proficiency in administering a broad range of anesthesia techniques, including nerve blocks and regional anesthesia
- Strong understanding of anesthesia protocols and patient safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision from an anesthesiologist
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
- Experience working in a Level 4 trauma setting
- Prior exposure to or familiarity with EPIC EMR systems
- Pediatric anesthesia experience
- Proficiency in ventilation management and complex anesthetic techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Anesthesia-related field
- Prior locum or perioperative role preferred but not mandatory
- At least 2 years of postgraduate anesthesia practice
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to undergo credentialing, estimated at 60 days
- Valid state and federal licensure, DEA registration as applicable
- Ability to travel to Ionia, MI; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- Full compliance with all hospital protocols and safety standards
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $180.90
- Orientation rate at half the hourly rate
- Holiday pay at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate
- Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit
