Hy-Line North America is seeking a hands-on Location Manager / Live Production Site Manager for the Elizabethtown location. This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the hatchery, compliance, and breeders in their area. The Location Manager / Live Production Site Manager will collaborate closely with sales and location managers to book orders, coordinate services, and maintain efficient production and delivery. The successful candidate will provide respectful, effective leadership to team members ensuring a cohesive team and adherence to site SOPs. The ability to safeguard and champion our key pillars of Biosecurity, Animal Welfare and Safety, is essential to the role. Hy-Line North America is seeking a proactive leader who can solve problems effectively, manage costs, support and grow team members, and maintain a high level of operational excellence.
Location Manager / Live Production Site Manager position qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of five (5) years providing successful leadership to a department/organization
- Experience in agriculture or food production, manufacturing, or related industry, strongly preferred
- A successful track record of adherence to safety standards and experience in a highly regulated industry, a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required; bilingual (Spanish), a plus
- Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
