Position Description
The Administrator plays a critical role in supporting team members across Applied Medical by delivering consistent, confidential, and service-oriented administrative support. This role contributes directly to a positive team member experience by managing leave of absence and reasonable accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams. The Administrator supports Human Resources (HR) operations and leave management processes, providing consistent on-site support that enables effective service across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage leave of absence and reasonable accommodation cases from initiation through completion in compliance with state and federal leave laws.
- Support team members with leave of absence, return to work, and accommodation requests by providing clear guidance and timely communication.
- Verify medical documentation, follow up as needed, and ensure all leaves are accurately designated according to applicable regulations.
- Explain company policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations as outlined in the company handbook.
- Collaborate with Benefits, Payroll, Health Services, and other internal teams to ensure seamless case coordination and resolution.
- Coordinate timekeeping requirements, work restrictions, and return to work guidance to support operational continuity.
- Provide timely notifications, correspondence, and documentation to team members and leaders.
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and data integrity.
- Contribute process improvement ideas that increase efficiency and enhance the overall team member experience.
- Provide coverage for reception and HR desks as needed.

Position Requirements
This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes
- Associate degree or demonstrate equivalent relevant work experience.
- Bring two to three years of experience supporting HR programs such as leave of absence (LOA) administration, accommodations, or employee support in a service-oriented environment.
