LMS Technical Business Systems Analyst

CTG is seeking to fill a LMS Technical Business Systems Analyst position for our client.
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 8 months
Duties:
- Serve as the technical and functional liaison supporting large-scale Learning Management System (LMS) migration and transition initiatives
- Collaborate with HRIS, IT, Security, Learning, Compliance, and external vendors to define and align system requirements and technical designs
- Lead documentation of system architecture, data flows, integrations, and design decisions to support LMS implementation
- Analyze current LMS environments and develop migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
- Support integration design between LMS and enterprise systems (HRIS, identity management, compliance systems, etc.)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and working sessions to drive alignment on technical solutions and business requirements
- Coordinate technical workstreams to ensure alignment with overall program timelines and milestones
- Provide risk identification, issue tracking, and mitigation planning for LMS migration activities
- Assist in system testing activities including SIT, UAT, and validation of migrated data and integrations
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Support post-migration stabilization, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts
Skills:
- Strong expertise in LMS platforms, including migration and system maintenance
- Hands-on experience with Saba or similar LMS platforms
- Solid understanding of system integration design, APIs, middleware, and data exchange processes
- Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation methodologies
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and their integration with LMS platforms
- Strong documentation skills including technical specifications, process flows, and architecture diagrams
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and governance requirements in enterprise systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Proven experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations in enterprise environments
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and third-party vendors
- Background in enterprise system integration and large-scale transformation programs
- Experience in regulated environments or industries with strong compliance requirements preferred
- Experience as a Package Consultant or working with enterprise packaged solutions (e.g., ERP, MES systems such as Infor, IFS, or similar) is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, LMS platforms, or enterprise systems are a plus

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
