A bit about us:

Litigation Paralegal specializing in personal injury, you will be an integral part of our legal team, supporting attorneys in all aspects of case preparation and management. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work on a diverse range of personal injury cases, from auto accidents to medical malpractice. You will be responsible for managing case files, preparing legal documents, assisting with trial preparation and discovery processes, managing legal case management software, and ensuring legal compliance. Your exceptional legal writing skills will be put to use in drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize case files from inception through trial.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation including witness preparation, trial exhibits, and trial binders.
  • Conduct document review and manage discovery process including organizing, summarizing, and analyzing documents produced in discovery.
  • Utilize legal case management software such as iManage to track case progress, maintain case calendars, and manage case-related documents.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state requirements.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Proficient in legal document preparation and trial preparation.
  • Experience with document review and managing the discovery process.
  • Proficient in using legal case management software, preferably iManage.
  • Strong understanding and experience in ensuring legal compliance.
  • Exceptional legal writing skills.
  • Experience in personal injury law is highly preferred.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
