You will be responsible for working and managing medical malpractice cases including drafting and reviewing discovery, e-filing court documents, working with medical experts and providing trial support. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Paralegal with a focus on Medical Malpractice to join our esteemed legal team. This is an incredible opportunity for a professional with a strong background in legal research, case management, and trial preparation, particularly within the realm of medical malpractice. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This role requires experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and trial materials.
2. Identify, organize and analyze case-related documents and information systematically.
3. Coordinate and manage calendars, including depositions, witness meetings and client meetings.
4. Assist attorneys in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with witness preparation, and attending trials when necessary.
5. Liaise with medical experts, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
6. Conduct legal research.
7. Maintain case management system by updating with relevant information, documents, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

1. Plaintiff-Side litigation, preferably in medical malpractice.
2. Proficient in discovery processes and trial preparation.
3. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical malpractice law, and procedures.
4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficient in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Candidates with trial experience will be given strong consideration.
