Dynamic and fast-growing full-service Estate and Wealth Management law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our firm. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. Candidates with estate litigation strongly preferred
This is a direct hire position with a salary of $70,000 – 80,000 with excellent benefits located in South Charlotte NC
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all relevant documents are easily accessible.
- Conduct comprehensive document reviews to prepare case files for litigation.
- Provide executive administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Research legal precedents and case law to support ongoing litigation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures throughout the litigation process.
- Check E-Courts for Calendar Calls
- Prepare Trial Notebooks & Exhibits
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
- Strong skills in document review and file management.
- Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with contract law and its applications in litigation.
- Keen attention to detail with a high degree of follow through.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks/requests.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Possess the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
