Litigation Legal Secretary – Downtown Dallas

A national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy defense-focused litigation practice in its Downtown Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Texas court rules, docketing, and state and federal e-filing, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and docketing requirements
  • Draft, format, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
  • Open new matters and maintain organized case files
  • Process expense reports and reimbursements (Chrome River)
  • Collaborate with attorneys and firm departments on case workflow

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of litigation legal secretary / legal assistant experience
  • Experience with state and federal e-filing required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Experience with Milana or similar systems is a plus
  • Some college preferred
