Litigation Legal Secretary Downtown Dallas
A national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy defense-focused litigation practice in its Downtown Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Texas court rules, docketing, and state and federal e-filing, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and docketing requirements
- Draft, format, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Open new matters and maintain organized case files
- Process expense reports and reimbursements (Chrome River)
- Collaborate with attorneys and firm departments on case workflow
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation legal secretary / legal assistant experience
- Experience with state and federal e-filing required
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Experience with Milana or similar systems is a plus
- Some college preferred
