Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Your Role:
Our client, a respected regional law firm with offices in downtown Portland and a strong regional presence, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Portland-based litigation team. This role is well-suited for a self-directed professional who thrives both independently and in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Oregon and Washington state court procedures, as well as federal court rules.

What you need to bring to the table to be successful
:

Minimum of five years of litigation experience in Oregon and Washington

Strong working knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures

Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Superior grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities

Proficiency with state and federal eFiling systems

Experience managing attorney calendars and master dockets; familiarity with electronic docketing systems preferred

Hands-on experience supporting all phases of the discovery process

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Experience with document management systems; NetDocuments preferred
