Position Snapshot

What You'll Do
  • Draft, revise, and prepare litigation documents including pleadings, correspondence, and supporting materials.
  • Organize case files, manage exhibits, and maintain accurate document sets across multiple active matters.
  • Handle state and federal e‑filings, ensuring full compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a manual Outlook‑based calendar and track critical litigation dates and deadlines.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day scheduling and provide proactive support to multiple attorneys.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of plaintiff‑side litigation legal secretary or legal assistant experience.
  • Strong manual calendaring skills aligned with court rules.
  • Experience with state and federal court filings (electronic + physical).
  • Knowledge of California and federal procedural rules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Outlook (Windows).
  • Familiarity with legal DMS platforms (NetDocuments or similar).
