Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including developing litigation strategies, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, and representing clients in court proceedings.
2. Provide expert legal counsel to clients on various insurance defense matters, including policy interpretation, coverage disputes, and liability assessment.
3. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in a manner that is favorable and compliant with all legal and ethical standards.
4. Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
5. Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and ensuring their legal needs are met.
7. Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client meetings, to promote the firm's services.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing a high-volume case load and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
5. Exceptional legal writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with a knack for achieving favorable settlements for clients.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Strong research skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively research legal matters and apply findings to case strategy.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
