We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding legal matters within the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare litigation, healthcare compliance, and regulatory compliance. They will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of complex matters, including disputes involving hospitals, physicians, and medical practices.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on matters related to healthcare compliance and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent hospitals, physicians, and medical practices in disputes and litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice on complex legal matters.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting healthcare clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with trusted and reliable legal counsel.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare litigation, healthcare compliance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record of successfully representing clients in litigation.
  • Strong understanding of laws and regulations affecting hospitals, physicians, and medical practices.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal matters.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
