- Admitted to the Florida Bar
- Minimum of 2 years' experience practicing law in the state of Florida
- Proficient in technology including Microsoft, Zoom, Teams and online research databases
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal audiences
- Ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment in conducting legal research, interpreting and applying laws and preparing legal documents
- Strong analytic skills including proof reading, thorough editing and attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals
- Day-to-day handling of litigation cases with excellent customer service skills as we guide clients through the case process
- Attend client meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations and negotiate settlements
- Draft/review substantive pleadings and motions
- Respond to motions and discovery
- Prepare cases and present material clearly and logically, both verbally and written
Arend & Sisk PA is seeking a motivated litigation attorney to join our civil litigation practice. 2 years' experience preferred. This position is in-person in our downtown Fort Myers office; our practice is throughout southwest Florida, so some travel to court events is required. Salary commiserate with experience.
