Our law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our thriving practice. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of various legal matters including but not limited to appellate law, bankruptcy, business law, ERISA, executive compensation, estate planning, family law, insurance, intellectual property law, labor and employment law, probate, real estate, securities, tax, trust and estate litigation, and wealth management. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, with a proven track record of managing complex cases, developing client relationships, and delivering favorable results.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters across various areas of law.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and manage depositions.
  • Represent clients in mediations and trials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing legal advice that is comprehensive, practical, and business-oriented.
  • Strategize and manage case from inception to resolution, including case management, strategy development, and client reporting.
  • Conduct thorough and detailed legal research and analysis.
  • Work closely with other attorneys and partners to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
  • Participate in the development of firm policies and procedures.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and case law to provide up-to-date advice and legal solutions to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil litigation associate.
  • Proven experience in appellate law, bankruptcy, business law, ERISA, executive compensation, estate planning, family law, insurance, intellectual property law, labor and employment law, probate, real estate, securities, tax, trust and estate litigation, and wealth management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in case management software and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • High level of professional integrity and ethics.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
