Job Details
We’re looking for an associate with at least two years of experience in real estate or commercial litigation to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with a dynamic, highly active group on a wide range of matters, including lease disputes, foreclosures, contract issues, title disputes, landlord/tenant matters, construction litigation, environmental disputes, and zoning appeals.
What You’ll Do
Draft and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs
Handle complex real estate and land use disputes, including prerogative writ actions
Conduct legal research and manage discovery
Take and defend depositions
Appear in court and participate in trial preparation
Manage day-to-day case responsibilities
What You’ll Bring
Minimum two years of litigation experience in New Jersey
Strong writing and courtroom advocacy skills
Admission to practice in New Jersey (dual admission in New York is a plus)
Ability to manage complex commercial real estate matters
Resourceful, self-motivated, and collaborative mindset
Familiarity with land-use, zoning, affordable housing, and redevelopment laws is a plus
Appellate clerkship experience is a plus
