Line Cook - Agave House

We are currently seeking Line and Prep Cooks to join our team at Agave House, Mexican restaurant concept near the UofA campus.  Come be a part of the Uni concepts brand that includes Gentle Ben's and Bacio Italiano. We have a brand-new custom kitchen with beautiful state-of-the-art equipment.  This is a fun, energetic and fast-paced environment with a culture of respect, teamwork and quality.

Requirements: 

• Positive attitude 
• Must be 18+ years of age or older 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills 
• Good verbal and written communication skills 
• Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to: 
  • Standing and walking for an 8-hour shift 
  • Reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies 
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis 
• Must have or obtain a food safety certificate 
• Proof of availability to work in the United States 

Preferred: 

• Experience in Mexican cuisine 
• Knife skills
