Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay rate: $20-$25.49 per hour on W2
Shift: 7-7:3 AM - 4-4:30 PM
Job Description:
- Practices safe work habits wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks.
- May assist experienced technicians with the following.
- Fabrication, documentation, programming and/or assembly of various devices and fixtures.
- Testing, troubleshooting, calibration, failure analysis or modification of test hardware, fixtures, software, and lab equipment.
- Design and drafting activities as required.
- Manufacturing support through the resolution of production problems.
- Other duties as assigned like Purchase material, parts, or supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble cables and harnesses
- Assemble test fixtures
- Assemble electro-mechanical sub-systems
- Install and cable components within a test rack
- Assemble the above from a combination of engineering documentation, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Work independently while functioning within a team environment
- Adjust to frequently changing demands
- Maintain inventory, organization, and maintenance of company tools and job materials
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Set-up and utilize a variety of test equipment
- Inspect incoming electrical and electronic components for compliance
- Test products at component, sub-assembly, and system level configurations
- Ability to troubleshoot to component level
- Ability to be certified to the latest industry electronic component assembly standards
- Collaborate with Operations team to achieve performance and compliance goals
Must Have:
- Assemble cables and harnesses
- Assemble test fixtures
- Assemble electro-mechanical sub-systems
- Install and cable components within a test rack
- Assemble the above from a combination of engineering documentation, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Mechanical Assembly/Rack Cabinets
- Identify System Components
- Cable Assembly
- Cable Routing
- Reading Blueprints
- Provide Technical input to Engineers and some assistance with design, testing, and documentation
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Basic Electrical Troubleshooting, not at board level
