Do you excel at guiding teams through change and bringing clarity to complex situations-especially within life insurance or annuity operations? Do you bring excellent communication and customer service skills to every interaction? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you!
Who We Are:
At Farm Bureau Financial Services, we make insurance simple so our client/members can feel confident knowing their family, home, cars and other property are protected. We value a culture where integrity, teamwork, passion, service, leadership and accountability are at the heart of every decision we make and every action we take. We're proud of our more than 75-year commitment to protecting the livelihoods and futures of our client/members and creating an atmosphere where our employees thrive.
What You'll Do:
We are looking for a dynamic leader for our new Interactions Team. You will coach staff, oversee communication quality, assist in managing centralized inbox workflows, partner with internal teams regarding questions and escalations, track Service Level Agreement (SLA) timing and Quality Assurance (QA), and drive continuous improvement. As the Life Operations Supervisor, you will represent Farm Bureau in a positive manner to our agents and client/members, while encouraging your team to do the same.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communications skills
  • Workflow management experience with proven success with continuous improvement and/or Lean Six Sigma projects.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required in addition to the ability to learn company products, processes and systems.
  • Ability to plan, direct and control business activities to meet established objectives.
  • ACS designations preferred.
  • Life and/or annuity experience preferred
What We Offer You:
When you're on our team, you get more than a great paycheck. You'll also have career development and educational opportunities. We offer an enhanced 401K with a match, low-cost health, dental, and vision benefits, and life and disability insurance options. We also offer paid time off, including holidays and volunteer time. Our teams focus on building relationships through engagement and fun! Add to that an onsite wellness facility with fitness classes and programs, a daycare center, a cafeteria, and for many positions, even consideration for a hybrid work arrangement.
