What You’ll Do
As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you’ll create engaging programs that inspire Residents to connect, grow, and thrive.
You will:
Plan, organize, and implement daily recreational and enrichment programs
Encourage Residents to build friendships, socialize confidently, and participate in group activities
Lead exercise programs including stretching, calisthenics, and group sports
Coordinate entertainment, special events, and community outings (lunch trips, sightseeing, picnics, and more)
Accompany Residents on outings and provide support throughout activities
Visit Residents who are non-ambulatory or at risk of isolation to ensure inclusion
Complete initial Resident assessments within 48 hours of admission and assist with ongoing program planning
Maintain accurate attendance records and required documentation
Evaluate Resident engagement and communicate observations to the team
Support and supervise volunteers during programs
Prepare weekly programming plans and necessary supply requests
Maintain and operate program equipment (projectors, computers, audiovisual systems, etc.)
Work collaboratively across departments to foster a positive, supportive team culture
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
Experience in recreation, activities, or a related field preferred — but not required
Creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with older adults
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
Plus every other weekend (8:30am – 5:00pm) and every other holiday
