Your day as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant

In the Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant position at Minden Medical Center, you will engage in a variety of essential daily tasks that promote patient health and well-being. Expect to take vital signs, assist with examinations, and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff, providing a seamless healthcare experience for our patients. Your day will likely start with a morning shift, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing ample time to provide thorough care and support.

You will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, assisting with procedures, and educating patients on their treatment plans. To thrive as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant at Minden Medical Center, you will need a combination of essential skills and qualifications. A Medical Assistant Certification or a current Louisiana LPN license is required to ensure you have the foundational knowledge necessary for patient care. Having at least one year of experience in a physician's office is preferred, as it allows you to navigate clinical settings with ease. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

•  Medical Assistant Certification or Current Louisiana LPN license required. One year experience in a physician's office preferred.
