Next Wave Mortgage is expanding and actively hiring Mortgage Loan Officers to support growing loan activity across our fully hybrid platform. Candidates must either hold an active Florida Mortgage Loan Originator license or be currently in the process of obtaining their Florida MLO license.

This is not a build from scratch environment. As a Mortgage Loan Officer with Next Wave Mortgage, you will work directly with motivated homebuyers, guide borrowers from preapproval through closing, and leverage modern technology and systems designed to support efficiency and scalable production.

$90,000 - $225,000 at plan earnings

• Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
• Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines
• Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business
• Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction

• Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations
• Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
• Provide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
