Job Duties and Requirements

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy for youth and young adults ages 12 through 25
  • Maintain timely documentation that meets Medi-Cal and insurance standards
  • Offer crisis intervention and participate in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Attend weekly supervision, clinical consultation, and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Uphold HIPAA, BBS/BOP ethics, and all Medi-Cal requirements
  • Maintain active California licensure and complete required CEUs

Early Psychosis Track Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of about 15 to 20 clients and meet monthly productivity expectations
  • Participate in statewide early psychosis collaboration and training
  • Support community outreach and educational presentations
  • Provide family support and advocate at school-based meetings
  • Co-lead evening Multi-Family Groups as scheduled
  • Offer non-supervisory support to other therapists or program staff

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Active California license: LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Experience working with youth, young adults, and families
  • Valid California driver’s license
  • Prior experience with early psychosis, CSC, CHRp, or first-episode psychosis programs preferred
  • Medi-Cal documentation experience preferred
