Licensed Journeyman Electrician

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for a Construction Foreman position in the Houston area. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of electrical experience and strong leadership skills to supervise small crews on commercial electrical projects.

The Construction Foreman will oversee small works projects valued under $100K, managing crews of 2–4 electricians while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within scheduled deadlines. Responsibilities include coordinating daily tasks, reviewing work orders, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Projects will primarily include small commercial buildouts, along with electrical installations for irrigation controllers and monument lighting at public parks and amenity centers. Several of these projects occur each month, requiring strong organization and communication with team members and project coordinators.

Requirements

• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License or Master Electrician License

• Minimum 2 years of electrical experience

• Experience supervising or leading small crews preferred

• Experience with commercial electrical installations

• Ability to  travel to different local project jobs in and around the Houston area and manage multiple small projects to meet deadlines
