Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
The ACT Supervisor is a licensed therapist who leads a team providing intensive mental health services to adults with serious mental illness in the community .
This role combines clinical supervision, program leadership, and direct client care . The supervisor ensures that individuals enrolled in the ACT program receive coordinated mental health treatment, crisis support, and case management services.
Schedule for Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
Regular Hours
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (program needs)
Additional hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage may be required based on client needs.
Key Responsibilities for Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
Program Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of the ACT program
- Supervise clinical staff including case managers, nurses, and peer specialists
- Ensure services follow ACT program standards
Client Care
- Provide therapy and mental health support to adults with serious mental illness
- Help clients manage mental health symptoms and improve daily functioning
- Participate in treatment planning with the care team
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with nurses, case managers, and peer support staff
- Coordinate community resources and services for clients
- Support staff with crisis situations and clinical guidance
Administrative Duties
- Track program outcomes and maintain documentation
- Ensure compliance with mental health program standards
- Participate in program development and quality improvement
Requirements for Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
Education
- Master’s Degree in:
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Counseling
License
- LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker (Michigan)
- Full licensure required
Experience for Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
- Minimum 2 years working with adults with serious mental illness
Preferred Experience for Licensed Clinical Therapist - ACT Supervisor
- Community mental health setting
- ACT program experience
- Supervisory experience
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain:
- QMHP certification
- CAADC (Addiction Counselor credential)
- CCS (Clinical Supervisor certification)
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Southgate, Michigan .
