Licensed Civil Structural Engineer

Job Title: Licensed Civil Structural Engineer
Location: Gulf Shores AL
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $140k-$160k
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for equipment foundations, support steel, buildings, and industrial structures
• Lead and review structural and civil design deliverables to ensure technical quality and alignment with project and client requirements
• Provide design leadership and coordination across drafting resources and other engineering disciplines
• Support and, when appropriate, lead project management activities including schedules, budgets, and direct client communication
• Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities as required
• Contribute to CET’s internal engineering standards, quality assurance practices, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Civil/Structural Engineering in the State of Alabama
• 8-10 years of experience designing industrial plants and facilities
• Experience with industrial facilities and heavy equipment support structures; experience in the steel or aluminum industries is a strong plus
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RISA, STAAD, or similar platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a small, technically focused consulting environment
