Facility: Ascension St. Francis Hospital

Department/Specialty: Emergency Room and Behavioral Health

Schedule: Days | Part Time | Saturday's 7am-7pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Guide the patient entry journey by providing compassionate admissions and intake services, ensuring every individual is met with empathy and professionalism from their first point of contact.
  • Navigate pathways to care by responding to inquiries and crisis calls, offering vital information and clinical resources to those seeking mental health support.
  • Facilitate seamless transitions by managing the formal admission and registration process, ensuring patients are placed in the appropriate care setting with the necessary physician oversight.
  • Safeguard clinical integrity by meticulously reviewing all patient documentation and regulatory paperwork to ensure every admission adheres to the highest safety and compliance standards.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • One or more of the following required:
    • Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education: 

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
