Position Summary The Legal Secretary will provide essential administrative and legal support to attorneys in transactional practices throughout all phases of real estate and corporate transactions, as well as related business matters. This role offers significant hands?on experience and opportunities to collaborate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and other professionals in a dynamic, team?oriented environment. Candidates must be flexible and able to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities Manage and organize documents for real estate transactions, including escrow instructions, title and survey reviews, entity formations, UCC searches, transfer requirements, and due diligence materials. Support post?closing activities such as preparing mailings, closing binders, and transfer agreements. Draft, edit, proofread, and process a wide range of legal documents, including correspondence, memoranda, and closing documents. Submit conflict checks, open new matters, prepare engagement letters, and assist with client billing reviews and edits. Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodations, and related logistics for assigned attorneys. Prepare and reconcile attorney expense reports and vendor invoices. Collaborate effectively with administrative staff, paralegals, and the broader legal support team. Make efficient use of firm resources to support attorney and client needs. Assist with overflow assignments and participate in special projects as required.

Client?service mindset with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in high?pressure situations.
Education & Experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting attorneys or senior professionals in a law firm or professional services environment. Ideally 5 years of experience  Experience with corporate filings, transactional support, or document management is a plus.
Technology Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with legal document management systems. Familiarity with corporate filing platforms and entity management systems
