Our esteemed legal firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working from home and in the office. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of professionalism and efficiency, possessing a deep understanding of legal billing processes and a keen eye for detail. With over 5 years of experience in a similar role, the candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing for attorneys, including the creation of billing reports and invoices, and the resolution of any billing issues. The candidate should be familiar with Elite 3E or Aderant and have a strong understanding of e-billing hub and adhoc reporting.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of billing for attorneys, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Generate detailed and accurate billing reports, highlighting any discrepancies or issues.
  • Utilize e-billing hub to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Perform adhoc reporting as required, providing detailed insights into billing data.
  • Resolve any billing issues promptly and professionally, liaising with clients and attorneys as necessary.
  • Comply with all firm policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.
  • Meet strict deadlines, managing your time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Collaborate with other team members, contributing to the overall success of the firm.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within a law firm.
  • Proficiency in Elite 3E or Aderant is essential.
  • Strong understanding of e-billing hub and adhoc reporting.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies in billing data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve billing issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and attorneys professionally.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
