Our client in the Dallas area is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to join their Accounting Department!

The Legal Billing Specialist will have experience in the following.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage high‑volume legal billing and review proformas for accuracy prior to invoicing
  • Process manual invoices, billing adjustments, write‑offs, and retainer applications as approved
  • Partner with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with billing guidelines
  • Monitor AR, aging reports, and support collection efforts on delinquent accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing matters

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of Legal Billing or similar billable hours experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
