The Legal Assistant is responsible for working all accounts referred out to local counsel. This person is responsible for loading legal accounts into Q-Law, entering suit and judgement information, preparing affidavits for review, and providing documents to local counsel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to local counsel correspondence daily.
- FTP Management / document submission.
- Enter suit and judgement information.
- Prepare affidavits in support of litigation.
- General document generation.
- General administrative support tasks for department.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 1+ years of legal administration experience.
- Must be highly meticulous and pay great attention to compliance and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to audit and update vast amounts of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - ability to format/create templates and other reports in Excel and Word.
- Experience with Adobe.
- Ability to effectively work as a team.
- Experience with Data Tree and TLO is a plus.
