Overview

Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Leasing Specialist supports and assists with all aspects of the community operations.

Responsibilities

• The Leasing Specialistsupportsandparticipatesinfulfilling the customer serviceandleasing responsibilitiesUpholdleasingandmarketingstandardsincludingtelephonemarketing,greetingprospectiveresidents,gatheringprospectinformation,settingappointments, showingreadyandmodelapartments, generatingquotes,closing,andsecuringdeposits,andassisting the prospectiveresidentswithrentalapplicationcompletionand creditverification.
• Assistinpreparingallpaperworkspecific to newand renewallease agreements.
• Insert lease renewalratesasapprovedbyCommunityManagerandassistsindelivery ofrenewalletters to secure lease renewals.
• Reviewresidentfilesandaccountingrecords to determineunpaidand/orlatefeesowed,communicatewithresidentsregardingoutstandingbalances,implementprocedures for collectingondelinquencies,andenforce the lease to maximize revenue.
• Assist the Community Managerinorganizingcommunityresidentactivities,preparingnewsletters,andmaintainingresidentloyalty andretention.
• Regular weekend work.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experienceasanonsiteLeasingConsultantinmulti-familyhousing,hospitalityorsimilar industry is preferred.
• A highschooldiplomaor equivalent.
• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
