Lead Restoration Technician

Location: Tampa, FL (Field-based)

On-Site Specialty Cleaning + Restoration provides round-the-clock fire, water, and contents restoration services across Metro Detroit and Tampa. Known for integrity, teamwork, and a can-do culture, we take pride in helping customers get back to normal quickly and professionally.

This is hands-on, physical work with real responsibility. You'll help homeowners and commercial clients during emergencies, water losses, contents pack-outs, jobsite support, equipment placement, and customer communication. If you like active work, moving with urgency, and taking pride in doing things the right way, you'll fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mitigation and contents work (pack-out/inventory, equipment setup, jobsite support)
• Handle demolition and physical tasks (moving furniture/equipment; jobsite labor)
• Communicate professionally with homeowners/clients onsite
• Use field software and tools to document work accurately
• Operate a 26-ft box truck (no CDL required).

Qualifications

• Comfortable with manual labor and physically demanding work
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 emergency response business
• After-hours calls happen and may include nights/weekends/holidays
• On-call rotation is weekly right now (until the team grows, everyone participates)
• Professional appearance and respectful communication in customers' homes
• Comfortable with technology/software in the field
• Valid Florida driver's license and ability to obtain a chauffeur endorsement
• (or Florida Class E + company training as applicable)
• Able to obtain a DOT medical card after hire (company can assist with the physical)
• Must pass background and driving record checks upon a conditional offer (company-paid; no applicant fees)
• Restoration experience (contents and/or mitigation). If you have it, great; if not, you can be trained.

Pay, Overtime, and Incentives

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Pay: $20 to $25/hour (based on experience)
• Overtime eligible (paid at 1.5 hourly rate in compliance with applicable wage laws).
• $35 incentive for after-hours emergency call-outs
• Benefits for direct-hire employees include medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
