Lead Rebar Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Lead Rebar Fabricator – $28–$30/HR + Overtime | 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday

We are hiring a Lead Rebar Fabricator to oversee daily operations in our fabrication shop. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong rebar experience who can operate shear line equipment, read bar lists accurately, and lead a team safely and efficiently.

Pay & Schedule

• $28–$30 per hour (based on experience)

• Overtime paid after 40 hours

• Monday–Thursday

• 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM

• Consistent, full-time hours

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the rebar fabrication team

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in the fab shop

• Set up, operate, and monitor shear line machinery

• Read and interpret bar lists, rebar tag prints, and production orders

• Ensure accuracy of cuts, bends, and bundled materials

• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of shear line and fabrication equipment

• Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency

• Coordinate daily production priorities to meet deadlines

What a Lead Rebar Fabricator Does

In addition to operating machinery, a Lead Fabricator:

• Ensures production targets are met without sacrificing quality

• Verifies material counts and specifications before shipment

• Troubleshoots equipment or workflow issues

• Trains and mentors newer fabricators

• Communicates with supervisors regarding production schedules and material needs

Qualifications

• Previous rebar fabrication experience required

• Experience operating shear line equipment

• Ability to read and interpret bar lists and fabrication drawings

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Commitment to safety and production accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
